My employment background information and previous education achievement was in case management/Counseling, with a background in substance abuse and serving the homeless population. I demonstrate leadership, organization, and communication skills. My passion lies in helping individuals with difficult life challenges.
I provide administrative tasks such as writing progress notes, individual housing action plans, clinical assessment, group counseling/individual counseling, discharge summaries and one-to-one counseling. I currently graduated from Coppin State University with Master in addiction counseling and a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work).
Furthermore, my academic and career goals are to provide individuals, families, and organizations with the needed resources they need such as mental health treatment, substance abuse treatment, social services referrals, provide emergency shelter programs, refer individuals to new jobs opportunities, refer individuals to a special skill training and other resources.
One of my most important long-term career goals as an addiction counselor is to implement long-lasting social change and help individuals who are struggling with mental health problems and drug/alcohol addiction. I want to devote my work toward improving the lives of others. I plan to work in mental health and substance abuse filed to help improve lives. While I am doing that, I will work towards my PHD in health psychology.
Nevertheless, one of my experiences that are related to my passion is the nature of my job. I am currently working with individuals with homeless, mental health and substance abuse issues. My interests are mental health and substance abuse. This started when I kept seeing young, middle, and older adults come in through the doors of the agency I worked in. They would be admitted for health complications due to substance abuse, detox, and then leave only to return within the next 30 days.
My educational goal is to become a Licensed clinical professional counsellor (LCPC) that works with adults suffering from mental health, drug abuse problems, and other addictions, such as gambling. I also plan to work together with the patient, identify the addiction, point out the associated behaviors and implement a plan for recovery.

Chukwunonso Allen EzehExecutive Director
Chukwunonso Allen Ezeh holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic Engineering and spent several years working in the field, gaining valuable technical experience.
Later, I pursued an AA degree in cybersecurity, followed by a master’s degree in cybersecurity, further expanding my expertise in the growing field of information security.
Currently, I serve as a supervisor at my job, where I apply both my technical knowledge and leadership skills to ensure success in my professional role.
This combination of engineering and cybersecurity gives you a strong foundation for navigating today’s complex technological challenges.
As the executive director, I will ensure that our residents receive the best quality of care and services they need to succeed in their lives.
Rochelle HolmesSecretary
My name is Rochelle Steveson-Holmes I’m originally from Columbus Ohio.
From a young age, I enjoy theatrical plays and drama as well as being creative, learning new things and venturing into opportunities to helping others.
In the process I’ve developed entrepreneurial skills, where I studied cosmetology and earned my instructor license. Through my career life has taught me the value of family, friends, and the broader community. I am a salon business owner for 10 years in Ohio and 18 years in Maryland.
My career also includes 21 years as a technician consultant for Avalon hair care industries from 1993-2014. In the addition to my professional achievements, I’ve dedicated time to do volunteer work at Claudia Mayor Cancer Center in 2015.
In 2016, I received Dudley hair care and cosmetics education award. My commitment to giving back includes mentoring women at prison for two years. I also currently volunteer at Jacobs Ladder Food Pantry where they help families in need for groceries and resources.
Felix Besong Treasurer
Mr. Felix Besong is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with an impressive 20 years of nursing experience, particularly in mental health. His academic qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in nursing science and a master’s degree in nursing.
Throughout his career, Mr. Besong has worked in various healthcare settings. He has experience in long-term care facilities and acute care settings. In addition to his clinical work, he has also served in leadership roles such as charge nurse and assistant nurse manager.
As a charge nurse, Mr. Besong demonstrated effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills and the ability to manage a team effectively. He coordinated patient care, supervised nursing staff, and ensured that all policies and procedures were followed. His experience in this role helped him develop strong leadership and decision-making skills.
In his role as assistant nurse manager, Mr. Besong gained experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and staff development. He worked closely with the nurse manager to establish the unit’s goals and objectives and oversaw the implementation of new policies and procedures. His ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients has ensured high-quality care.
Mr. Besong’s experience as a PMHNP has allowed him to develop a deep understanding of mental health disorders and the most effective treatments. He has worked with patients of all ages, providing medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions to help them manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life. His experience in this role has helped him to develop a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
